the only year a solid lifter 350 cu in engine was offered with air conditioning in a Corvette. The most common estimate is 240 LT1 A/C Corvettes were built, making it one of the rarest C3 Corvettes available, its low production numbers make the 1970-72 LT1 Corvette a scarce commodity, but few are as rare as this 1972 factory A/C Coupe. Of the 20,469 Coupes built that year, it is estimated only 183 combined the high-winding LT1 small block with factory air conditioning. In addition this all-matching-numbers 4-speed car has been maintained and owned by the same owner for 28 years and now sports just 53,000 actual miles. Rcipient of a recent engine rebuild by a well respected engine shop it also received a new Gardner exhaust equipped with power steering and brakes, power windows, tilt-telescopic steering column and AM/FM stereo.
